The Noida HighRise Federation (NHRF) has announced a city-wide initiative to address the long-pending issue of flat registries across Noida's high-rise societies. The Federation will collect society-wise data on pending registries and submit a consolidated representation to the Uttar Pradesh Government, Chief Minister's Office, Noida Authority and other concerned authorities.

A video claiming to show a leopard near Aimanabad village in Greater Noida West has gone viral on social media, triggering concern among residents of nearby villages and high-rise societies. The Forest Department has clarified that the video is around 11 days old and said no evidence of a leopard was found during an inspection. Officials suspect the animal visible in the footage could be a fishing cat.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration has directed all construction sites employing 50 or more workers to establish crèche facilities within 15 days. The order, issued under Section 24 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 and Rule 58 of the Central Rules notified in May 2026, lays down detailed safety, hygiene, CCTV and child-protection requirements for children of construction workers.

Tenants in several high-rise societies across Noida are being asked to pay additional monthly charges to access facilities such as swimming pools, gyms and clubhouses, despite already paying maintenance charges. While RWAs argue that the fees help regulate access, improve security and cover maintenance costs, tenants say the additional charges amount to differential treatment and unfairly burden renters.
