Noida: International tennis ball cricket player Vinayak Thakur was felicitated by the Active Citizen Team for winning a gold medal while representing India at the Indo–Sri Lanka International Tennis Ball Cricket Bilateral Series 2026.
The bilateral series was held in Hyderabad, Telangana, where Thakur represented the Indian team and delivered a strong performance to help the country secure the gold medal.
Active Citizen Team members Sardar Manjeet Singh, Harendra Bhati, Bijender Arya and Sanjay Singh honoured Thakur and congratulated him on his international achievement.
The team members said Thakur’s gold medal victory has brought pride to the country and the region. They said his achievement is a source of inspiration for young players and demonstrates the importance of dedication, hard work and perseverance in sports.
