Noida: A grand Basketball Tournament and Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised on May 27, 2025, at the basketball ground of Mahagun Mirabella in collaboration with the AOA and Dribbling Academy. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from players of Mirabella Society as well as nearby residential societies, especially Prateek Wisteria.
Speaking about the event, AOA Secretary Ashok Vardhan said that the tournament aimed to encourage sports culture and community engagement among children and youth.
Players showcased excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and impressive basketball skills during the competition, keeping spectators engaged throughout the matches.

A large number of residents, parents and youngsters gathered at the venue to support and cheer for the participating teams. The energetic atmosphere and competitive spirit added excitement to the tournament and strengthened the sense of community among residents.

At the conclusion of the event, the winning and runner-up teams were honoured with trophies and prizes during a special prize distribution ceremony. Organisers highlighted the importance of sports in promoting physical fitness, self-confidence, discipline and healthy competition among children and young players.
The organizers also expressed gratitude to the AOA, Dribbling Academy, participating players, parents and supporting societies for making the event successful. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue organizing similar sports and community activities in the future to encourage youth participation and strengthen community bonding.

Women at Samriddhi Grand Avenue in Greater Noida West celebrated Teej with traditional Sawan songs, Ghoomar, group and solo dance performances, surprise games and other fun activities. The celebration, organised for the last five years by a dedicated team including Shipra, Jyoti, Ankita, Nidhi and Nidhi, also saw Pinki Rahi win the Teej Queen Award and Anita receive the Lucky Lady Award.
