‘Election Was Not Fair’: Eldeco Aamantran AOA row reaches SDM Dadri Court
Residents demands the status quo be maintained in the society till the May 25 hearing and that all major financial and policy decisions be temporarily halted.
AOA election controversy at Eldeco Aamantran intensifies as SDM Dadri fixes May 25 for hearing after the Deputy Registrar reportedly observed that the poll process was not fair and transparent.
Noida: The ongoing dispute over the AOA election at Eldeco Aamantran has intensified after the Deputy Registrar (DR) reportedly referred the matter to the SDM Dadri for final adjudication citing alleged irregularities in the election process. The SDM Dadri has now accepted the petition and fixed May 25, 2026, as the date for the hearing while issuing notice to the newly formed AOA. The development has triggered fresh concerns among residents regarding the transparency and legality of the election process conducted in the society.
Election Officer admits procedural lapses
According to documents cited by residents, the election officer has allegedly admitted in writing that secrecy during the voting process was compromised and that misconduct took place during the election proceedings.
Residents also claimed that a polling agent admitted to recording the entire process and allegedly stated, “I have recorded everything, do whatever you want,” which has further raised concerns about the sanctity of the election process.
DR reportedly observed election was not transparent
Residents opposing the election process stated that the Deputy Registrar, in an official communication, observed that the election was not conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Based on these findings, the matter was referred for further investigation.
Following the DR’s observations, the SDM Dadri reportedly took cognisance of the matter and initiated proceedings by accepting the investigation petition and issuing notice to the new AOA.
Questions raised over claims made by new AOA
Several residents have alleged that the newly elected AOA has been informing residents that the registration process received complete approval from the DR office and that the investigation has been closed.
However, residents opposing the election claim that no such written approval has been issued by the DR office and that the matter is currently pending before the SDM court.
Another major point of contention is that the election officer has allegedly not yet submitted the final written election results to the DR office, making claims regarding official submission factually disputed.
Alleged violation of conditional registration terms
Residents have also accused the new AOA of violating the conditions attached to its registration.
As per the allegations, the conditional registration prohibited major policy decisions, amendments to bylaws and capital expenditure. Despite this, residents claim that the newly formed AOA constituted a scrap sale committee, opened a new bank account and transferred approximately Rs 46 lakh into it and also formed a bylaw amendment committee.
Opposing residents allege that these actions amount to a violation of the DR’s directives.
Residents demand status quo till hearing
Residents demanding an investigation have sought immediate intervention from authorities. They have requested that all policy and financial decisions taken by the newly formed AOA be reconsidered until the matter is decided.
They have also demanded that the status quo be maintained in the society till the May 25 hearing and that all major financial and policy decisions be temporarily halted.
Residents seek strict administrative action
We expect strict action from the SDM Dadri to ensure that no individual interferes with the election process, disregards official orders or behaves improperly with government officials in future. Maintaining the sanctity and transparency of society elections is essential for preserving trust among residents and ensuring proper governance.
Residents of Eldeco Aamantran
The election officer’s reported observations, the DR’s communication and the SDM court accepting the investigation petition have made the upcoming May 25 hearing crucial for residents of the society, who are now closely watching the proceedings.
