Greater Noida : A tragic accident in Greater Noida claimed the life of a five-year-old child after he allegedly fell from the 15th floor of a residential society in the Kasna area. The heartbreaking incident took place at Lohia Enclave Society and left residents in deep shock and grief.
The child fell while playing on the balcony
According to information received, the child, identified as Ansh, was at home while his father was supervising repair work inside the flat. During this time, the child reportedly reached the balcony while playing and accidentally lost balance, falling from the 15th floor.
Residents rushed to the spot after hearing a loud noise. The child’s mother immediately came downstairs and picked him up, but he succumbed to his injuries within moments.
Family in deep shock after Greater Noida accident
The incident created panic and sorrow across society’s premises. Family members were devastated after the accident and residents who witnessed the aftermath were left emotional.
The family has treated the matter as an accident and has not filed any complaint in the case.

Police begin investigation
Officials from Kasna police station reached the spot and initiated preliminary investigation proceedings. According to police, the family declined a postmortem examination.
