Greater Noida: The monthly review meeting of the RWA Beta-1, Greater Noida, was held on September 6 at the community centre in Sector Beta-1, where members discussed several civic and security-related issues concerning the sector. The meeting was chaired by RWA president Sangeeta Sharma and conducted by general secretary Harendra Bhati.
Boundary wall proposed for better security
The RWA discussed the need for constructing a boundary wall around Sector Beta-1 in view of the security requirements of the sector. Members said that a boundary wall is necessary to strengthen security arrangements and improve control over access to the sector. The installation of CCTV cameras in Sector Beta-1 was also discussed as part of efforts to improve surveillance and security.
Traffic congestion near Beta Plaza discussed
Traffic congestion in front of Beta Plaza was another key issue discussed during the meeting. The RWA decided to seek the intervention of the traffic police to address the congestion and improve traffic management in the area.
Maintenance charges discussed
The issue of collecting maintenance charges from sector residents was also taken up during the meeting. RWA treasurer Advocate Vipin Bhati presented the income and expenditure details before the members.
RWA to submit memorandum on damaged service road
The RWA also decided to submit a memorandum to senior officials of the Greater Noida Authority regarding the damaged service road between Gate No. 2 and Gate No. 5 of Sector Beta-1. The memorandum is proposed to be submitted to Greater Noida Authority CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, ACEO Lakshmi, DGM Vijay Rawal and senior manager Rajesh Nim.
Through the memorandum, the RWA plans to highlight the condition of the damaged service road and bring other civic problems of Sector Beta-1 to the authority’s attention.
The possibility of holding a meeting between the Greater Noida Authority and the RWA was also discussed. The RWA is considering taking up the sector’s issues directly with authority officials.

The meeting was attended by patron Sheetla Prasad, Devi Sharan Sharma, Vinod Kasana, president Sangeeta Sharma, general secretary Harendra Bhati, treasurer Advocate Vipin Bhati, secretary Om Prakash Sharma, adviser Reshpal Singh, Rambir Singh, Siddharth Singh, Dharmendra Singh, Anwar Hussain, Rajendra Singh, Jaipal Singh and member Surendra Kumar Saini.
The meeting concluded with discussions on strengthening security, improving traffic management and taking up the sector’s civic infrastructure issues with the Greater Noida Authority.
