Chhath Pooja 2024: Purvanchal Ekta Manch and Nefowa starts its preparations for Grand Chhath Pooja

Greater Noida West: Nefowa Foundation and Purvanchali Ekta Manch are all set to celebrate the Grand Chhath Pooja for the 5th consecutive year. Greater Noida Authority is also helping and working day and night to make this event a grand success. The celebrations will take place at the Chhath Ghat near Ek Murti.

This time, there will be more colourful and divine celebrations from November 5th to November 6th. Traditional folk songs and Spiritual music will win the hearts of all the devotees.

The theme of Chhath Puja has been kept as “Rising Sun, Rising India”. CEO of Greater Noida Authority, NG Ravi is personally monitoring the preparations and is regularly taking updates from NeFOWA.

“This time, to ensure the purity of Chhath Ghat, Gangajal will be brought from Garh Ganga and poured in the ghat, Rosewater will be brought from Kannauj so that the surrounding atmosphere remains pleasant with the fragrance of Chhath pond.”

As always, special attention is being paid by the organizing body to the cleanliness of Chhath Ghat and the care of the environment. Given the increasing number of devotees, the area must remain clean and welcoming.

Chhath Puja Schedule
Nahay Khay (November 5, 2024): On the first day, devotees take a holy bath and prepare the bhog.

From 7 pm, Little Champ fame Palak Singh Rajput and renowned singer Prabhat Pandey will perform.

Kharna (November 6, 2024): On this day, devotees observe fast for the entire day and break the fast by performing puja in the evening.

From 7 pm, renowned singers Amit Kumar Monu, Bhavana and Prachi will perform.

Chhath (November 7, 2024): The main day, when devotees offer arghya to the setting sun in the evening.
Usha Arghya (November 8, 2024): The festival concludes by offering arghya to the rising sun in the morning.
