IMS Noida organised a ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme at its Sector 62 campus, where students paid tribute to the unsung heroes of India's freedom struggle through patriotic songs, street plays, poetry and speeches.
Sector 51 residents have raised concerns over damaged play equipment, slippery tracks, broken railings and poor cleanliness at the Children’s Park. They have also sought maintenance of rainwater harvesting pits and better monitoring of Meghdootam Park in Sector 50.
Noida will mark Independence Day with cultural programmes and flag hoisting ceremonies at JVCC Sector 21 and Shaheed Smarak in Sector 29. The celebrations will include patriotic events, tributes to martyrs and the participation of distinguished guests.
Villagers from Rohillapur and nearby areas honoured Noida MLA Pankaj Singh for his intervention in issues concerning farmers. A joint committee formed by the Noida Authority is expected to examine records related to the disputed 5% plots, while villagers also hope for progress on pending leaseback cases.
