Greater Noida : A road in Knowledge Park 3 has reportedly become a major inconvenience for commuters, with potholes, waterlogging, and scattered debris making it difficult for people travelling through the area. The road, constructed about one year and three months ago, has developed damage in several places.
Knowledge Park 3 is surrounded by colleges, universities and schools, making the road an important route for students, staff and other commuters. However, poor road conditions, stagnant water and unclean surroundings have raised concerns about the condition of civic infrastructure in the area.
According to members of the Active Citizen Team, several stretches of the road have broken down, while water has accumulated in the potholes. Stones and construction debris scattered along the road are also creating a potential risk for commuters.
Active Citizen Team member Harendra Bhati said the concerned officials of Division 4 of the Greater Noida Authority had been informed about the condition of the road and related civic issues several times. He alleged that the matter had not received adequate attention from Greater Noida Authority Senior Manager Rajesh Neem.
Bhati has called for an inspection of the quality of construction work carried out on the road and drains and sought accountability if deficiencies are found. He also demanded immediate repairs to the damaged road and improvement of cleanliness and drainage arrangements in Knowledge Park 3.
With educational institutions located across the area, commuters say proper roads and effective drainage are essential for smooth movement. The condition of the road has also raised questions about the durability and quality of recently completed civic works.
