Greater Noida West: Residents of ATS Homekraft Nobility have approached the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), seeking urgent intervention to resolve a series of long-pending civic and infrastructure issues in the area. In a formal representation submitted to the Authority, residents highlighted concerns ranging from incomplete roads and open drains to encroachments, waste accumulation and public safety.
They said immediate action is necessary to improve connectivity, sanitation and the overall quality of life for thousands of families living in the neighbourhood.
Residents Demand Completion of Key Connecting Road
One of the primary concerns raised is the incomplete 24-metre-wide road connecting AIMS Green Avenue, ATS Homekraft Nobility and Golf Homes. According to residents, the road has remained in poor condition for nearly two years, with potholes, uneven stretches, dust and construction debris posing risks to motorists and pedestrians.
Residents said the situation has worsened during the monsoon due to waterlogging and damaged road surfaces, making daily commuting difficult. They have urged GNIDA to complete the road at the earliest while also providing proper stormwater drainage, streetlights and pedestrian footpaths.
Open Drain Raises Safety and Health Concerns
Residents have also requested the Authority to cover the open drain located opposite the society. They stated that stagnant water in the adjoining vacant land has led to dense vegetation, creating favourable conditions for mosquito breeding as well as the presence of snakes and other reptiles.
The issue has become more concerning as a school bus stop is located nearby, where children and parents gather every day. Residents have appealed to GNIDA to cover the drain, remove the overgrown vegetation and develop the surrounding land into a landscaped green space.

Encroachments Along Boundary Wall Affect Traffic and Public Safety
Another major concern highlighted in the representation is the growing number of unauthorised shops, food stalls and roadside vendors operating along the society’s boundary wall.
Residents alleged that these encroachments have resulted in traffic congestion, poor sanitation and obstruction of drains. They also claimed that incidents of public drinking, loud behaviour and public urination have increased in the area, raising safety concerns for women, children and senior citizens.
The residents have requested GNIDA to remove the encroachments and implement permanent measures to prevent their recurrence.

Garbage Accumulation Adds to Hygiene Concerns
Residents also pointed out that garbage and construction debris have accumulated for a prolonged period along both sides of the society’s boundary wall. They said the waste emits a foul smell during the monsoon and creates unhygienic conditions, increasing the risk of mosquito breeding and the spread of infectious diseases.
They have urged the Authority to undertake immediate waste removal, conduct regular sanitation drives and strengthen waste management practices to maintain cleanliness in the area.

Residents Seek Swift Action
Calling for priority attention to the issues, residents said timely intervention by GNIDA would improve public safety, civic infrastructure and urban living standards in the locality.
Expressing confidence in the Authority’s commitment to public welfare, they said they hope the long-pending concerns will be addressed promptly, bringing lasting relief to thousands of residents living in and around ATS Homekraft Nobility.
