Shri Radha Sky Garden: Society residents’ protest continues for the sixth week

Greater Noida West: Shri Radha Sky Garden Society residents are forced to oppose the builder in the scorching sun against the builder’s illegal loot and lack of basic amenities. It has been six weeks since the residents have been protesting but the builder has neither stopped illegal collection nor improved the necessary amenities.

‘The owner is shirking his responsibilities’

The society residents have also resolved that until the real owner of the project is found, the owner does not start fulfilling his responsibilities and until the basic amenities are completed, the protest will continue week after week.

Residents are upset with the lack of action on basic amenities

The society’s builder, Shri Group has brought Havelia Builder as a co-developer to complete the project. Residents allege that Havelia is only interested in completing the incomplete part and there is no interest in developing amenities in the the constructed towers.

‘Hawelia builder is collecting illegal fees from residents’

Residents also allege that ever since Havelia Builder has been involved, they have been collecting illegal fees from the residents. Residents now do not know who the real owner of the project is. Shri Group builder did sign an agreement with Havelia but without the knowledge and consent of the society residents. The maintenance agency has reduced the housekeeping staff and security guards by half.

‘Fire fighting equipment is not working’

Residents allege that despite giving possession of flats in the society 8-10 years back, the fire fighting equipment in the society is not working.
The society does not have a DG of the same load capacity as a load of DG backup distributed by the builder.
Water is dripping at various places in the entire basement and the ceiling and walls are getting weak due to dampness at multiple places.

Residents informed Apartment Times that the builder built the clubhouse but did not complete it. The builder has not started the swimming pool, if the swimming pool will not start in summer, then when will it start?
The builder has also reduced the housekeeping and security staff by half. Also, the builder is making illegal collections from the newly handed over flat owners.
Instead of charging maintenance charges from the date of handover after the buyers purchase the flat, maintenance charges are charged from the date of offer of possession issued 4-6 months before that, which is completely illegal.

Residents have put up banners on the balconies of their flats

Residents have taken their protest forward and have put up banners on the balconies of their flats. Residents protested and raised slogans at the maintenance office of the builder’s High Greens company, the builder’s sales office, the CRM office and the project office.

Hundreds of residents of the society, men, women, elderly and young, joined the protest and decided that until the problems are resolved, peaceful protests will continue in the society.
