Greater Noida West: Residents of Nirala Greenshire have raised concerns over a broken boundary wall located between Nirala Greenshire and Nirala Trio, in front of towers G-11, G-12 and G-14. The wall has reportedly remained damaged for nearly a year, with residents alleging that the concerned management and authorities have yet to resolve the issue.
The prolonged delay has triggered dissatisfaction among residents, who say the damaged wall has created serious concerns related to safety, cleanliness and the upkeep of the surrounding area.
Garbage accumulation and growing safety concerns
According to residents, the area around the broken boundary wall has turned into a garbage dumping spot. Stray dogs have become increasingly common, while overgrown bushes and inadequate lighting have added to the concerns.
Residents have also reported sightings of snakes and other reptiles in the area, raising concerns about the safety of people using the adjoining space. Children and senior citizens are particularly vulnerable to the potential risks posed by poor visibility, accumulated waste and the presence of stray animals.
Nearly 100 parking spaces affected
Residents have also highlighted the impact of the damaged boundary wall on approximately 100 designated parking spaces. The situation has reportedly caused prolonged inconvenience to residents who depend on these parking facilities.
With Diwali approaching, residents have expressed concern over the continued neglect of the area. They believe the pending repairs and lack of proper sanitation measures require immediate attention to prevent further deterioration.
Residents demand repairs before Diwali
Residents have urged the Nirala management, the concerned authority and the police to intervene and ensure that the issue is addressed without further delay.
Their key demands include:
- Repair of the boundary wall: The damaged section should be repaired before Diwali to address safety concerns.
- Removal of garbage: The entire surrounding area should be cleared of accumulated waste.
- Clearing of overgrown bushes: Vegetation should be trimmed and the area properly maintained to reduce potential risks.
- Adequate street lighting: Sufficient lighting should be installed to improve visibility and safety, particularly after dark.
- A time-bound action plan: The concerned authorities should issue a clear action plan and specify a deadline for completing the work.
Residents seek accountability and concrete action
Residents have called for coordinated action by the concerned management and authorities to restore safety, cleanliness and normal access to the affected area.
They have stressed that the issue requires more than assurances, demanding a clear timeline and visible progress on the ground. With Diwali approaching, residents want the boundary wall repaired and the surrounding area cleaned and secured at the earliest.
For residents, the demand is straightforward: concrete action, not further assurances.
