Greater Noida West: The bankruptcy process has started in NCLT regarding Supertech Eco Village-2 of Greater Noida West. IRP was appointed to the project two and a quarter years ago, but the work on this incomplete project could not be restarted. IRP Hitesh Goyal, an IRP official says, “The Ventus company has given a proposal to complete the project, in this proposal it has been said that Rs 400 per square foot should be charged to the people already living in the flats.
‘Rs 1200 per square foot should be charged for those whose flat work is not complete’
He further says that Rs 1200 per square foot should be charged to those whose flat work is incomplete. Project work should be completed with this money. He has submitted this proposal to NCLT and has sought further directions from the court.
Further work has to be done as per the instructions of the court. However, if the society members vote against the proposal then the proposal will be rejected and then a new plan will be considered to complete the project. Voting also has to be done on the orders of the court.
In this proposal, buyers say that this project should have been completed in the year 2013, but 10 years have passed and it is still incomplete. In such a situation, why should we pay more money? We have already paid the full fixed price for his flat, but still have not got the house. In such a situation, where there is no unanimous decision on project completion, it may take more time to complete this project.
This Supertech project was launched in 2009-10, in which 3600 flats were to be constructed. There was a claim to complete these in three years. Till now only 2500 flats have been constructed here, out of which people are living in about 1500 flats that have been completed. Construction of other flats is incomplete.
