Tata-owned Air India to soon provide Wi-Fi facilities on board flights | Company News

Wi-Fi will soon be available on Air India flights, beginning with the A350 on the Delhi–London Heathrow route.

The airline controlled by the Tata Group, which has started an ambitious transformation path, started operating the A350-900 between Delhi and London Heathrow on Sunday. According to a press statement on Monday, the flight will operate on the route twice daily.

Its A350 aircraft include 264 economy seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 28 private suites with full-flat beds in business class.

The airline claims that it would soon begin offering Wi-Fi on board, beginning with the A350 on the route between Delhi and London Heathrow.

The airline that is losing money began introducing A350 aircraft earlier this year.

“On 14 of the 17 weekly flights, the A350-900 will take the place of the Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that are currently in service. Consequently, the Delhi-London Heathrow route will have an extra 336 seats available per week,” the press announcement stated.
