Greater Noida West: A stray dog ​​has attacked a small child in SKA Greenarch in Greater Noida West. The incident took place when the child was going out of the society’s parking area. Suddenly a stray dog ​​ran behind him. Due to this the people around and the family members got terrified. Although the people present on the spot immediately chased the dog away and saved the child’s life. This incident has spread fear among the residents of the society.

The problem of stray dogs is not decreasing

Residents of SKA Greenarch say that the number of stray dogs in society is continuously increasing, and such incidents have also increased in the last few times. Many people have already complained about dog bites and chasing, but their complaints are not being heard. Residents allege that the society management and the local administration are ignoring this issue, which has raised questions about the safety of the people.

Dog attaced at the society’s gate

Vinay Updahyay lives in SKA Greenarch Flat number 528 with two daughters and one boy kid. His small kid Shivyae went out of the society where the dogs were sitting. Seeing the boy coming out, dogs attacked him. Residents inform Apartment Times that this dog has attacked the labourer and gardener of the society too. The residents also informed that there are residents who feed at the main gate of the society. Due to this dogs remain sitting the wait of food. The population of these dogs has multiplied to a scary extent.

Dogs targeting children and the elderly

A resident said, “This is not the first time this has happened. Even before this, children and the elderly have been targeted by stray dogs in society many times. We have been raising this issue many times, but no concrete steps have been taken so far.”

Demand for strict action

The residents have demanded strict action from the society management and have also appealed to the Municipal Corporation for intervention for a permanent solution to the problem of stray dogs. The people of the society are demanding from the administration that the stray dogs roaming around the society should be caught immediately and appropriate measures should be taken to prevent such incidents.
