Greater Noida: The sixth edition of EV India Expo 2026 began on Tuesday at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, bringing together electric vehicle manufacturers, battery companies, charging equipment providers, EV component makers and technology firms. Organised by Indian Exhibition Services and Green Society of India, the three-day expo will continue from September 1 to 3 and showcase the latest developments in electric mobility and related technologies. The expo was jointly inaugurated by Indian Exhibition Services CEO Dr Swadesh Kumar, Dr Rajiv Mishra and Dr Shailendra Sehroz in the presence of representatives from the electric vehicle industry.
Among those attending the inauguration were Som Prakash Middha, Director, Sundak Solar Solutions Pvt Ltd, Ramesh Kumar Miglani, Director, Lords Mark Tech Next Pvt Ltd, Harshit Garg, Director, Future Tech Rides Pvt Ltd (Dacus), Manish Taneja, Director, E Garuda Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd and Atul Chachan, Director, Maxim E Vehicles. Devansh Gupta, MD and Founder of Drive Volts Pvt Ltd and Ray Electric, Raunak Juneja, MD of Elesco, Krishna Grover from Herald E-Bike and Lokesh and Shaurya Kataria from Greaves Electric Mobility also participated in the inauguration.
Business deals and new partnerships
According to the organisers, more than 10,000 visitors from India and overseas are expected to attend the three-day exhibition. The opening day saw companies sign memorandums of understanding (MoUs) aimed at expanding business and strengthening collaboration. Business meetings were also held to explore new partnerships, commercial opportunities and avenues for growth in the electric mobility sector. The exhibition is providing industry professionals and visitors an opportunity to explore new electric vehicles, technologies, components and charging solutions while engaging directly with participating companies.
National seminar focuses on future of electric mobility
A national seminar titled “Electric Vehicle — The Future of Transport” was also organised during the expo. The seminar was co-organised by the Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (i-FEVA). Industry stakeholders discussed the growing adoption of electric vehicles, challenges facing the sector and the opportunities that could shape the future of electric mobility in India. The discussions focused on the evolving EV ecosystem and the need for continued innovation and collaboration among manufacturers, technology providers and other stakeholders.
EV India Expo 2026 directory released
The official EV India Expo 2026 Directory was also released during the event. The directory contains information about participating companies, their products and services, providing visitors and industry professionals with a consolidated reference for the exhibitors present at the expo. Dr Swadesh Kumar, CEO of Indian Exhibition Services, said the expo aims to bring companies and businesses from the electric vehicle industry onto a common platform. He said the event provides companies with an opportunity to showcase products, connect with potential customers and expand their businesses.
