Greater Noida: The Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Beta 1 organised a public hearing on Tuesday at its newly established RWA office located inside the Beta 1 Barat Ghar. The initiative provided residents with a platform to directly highlight civic issues and interact with RWA office bearers.
Residents Seek Restoration of Green Cover
During the public hearing, resident Narendra Chaudhary raised concerns over the loss of greenery near Beta Plaza. He said that a large number of trees once existed in front of Beta Plaza, but most of them were cut down during the construction of the commercial complex.
Chaudhary urged that fresh plantation be carried out to restore the area’s green cover and improve the local environment.
RWA Assures Action with GNIDA Horticulture Department
Responding to the concern, Beta 1 RWA office bearers assured residents that the matter would be taken up with the Horticulture Department of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). They said efforts would be made to ensure that new trees are planted at the location.
RWA Promises Swift Resolution of Civic Issues
RWA General Secretary Harendra Bhati and Vice President Rajbir Singh interacted with residents during the hearing and assured them that all civic issues raised during the session would be pursued with the concerned authorities for early resolution.
The public hearing concluded with the RWA reiterating its commitment to maintaining regular dialogue with residents and working towards addressing sector-level infrastructure and environmental concerns through coordination with the concerned departments.
