Noida: In an inspiring act of devotion, 47-year-old business professional Sanjiv Mishra has made an extraordinary journey from Noida to Prayagraj to attend the Kumbh Mela. Covering a distance of 700 kilometres, Mishra decided to travel on his cycle, marking his second visit to the iconic religious gathering.
The determined cyclist, an avid fitness enthusiast, embarked on this journey to demonstrate his deep devotion and reverence for the sacred event. This was his second time attending the Kumbh Mela; however, his first visit was more conventional. Back then, Mishra travelled to Prayagraj with his family in a car.
On his solo cycling journey, Mishra spent 3 days travelling through various terrains, braving long stretches of road and traffic Jam. His journey, which began in Noida, was a testament to his commitment to the spiritual experience of the Kumbh, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
Mishra shared that the cycle ride was not just a physical challenge but a spiritual one. “This was not only a journey of distance but also of inner peace and devotion,” he said. “The feeling of being part of this historic occasion, surrounded by the immense energy of thousands of devotees, is truly humbling.”
