Noida: The Noida Authority is developing a Japanese-themed park in Sector 94 as part of its push to strengthen the city’s green infrastructure and enhance its global urban image. The project, estimated at around Rs 8.76 crore, is already well into execution, with civil works reported to be nearly 70 per cent complete. Horticulture work is expected to begin shortly.
Noida has steadily built an international reputation through its high-rise developments, flyovers, stadiums, metro connectivity, industrial ecosystem and institutional hubs. The horticulture department has played a key role in this transformation by expanding green belts, roadside plantations and public parks across the city.
The upcoming Japanese park is designed not just as a recreational space but as a wellness-oriented urban zone. Once completed, it is expected to benefit employees at nearby IT companies and residents in surrounding high-rise societies by providing a calming environment that can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
