Noida : Residents of high-rise housing societies in Noida and Greater Noida facing delays in the registration of their flats can submit details of their cases through a citizen registration initiative launched by the Noida High Rise Federation (NHRF). The initiative aims to collect information on pending property registrations, identify the reasons for delays and examine whether similar issues are affecting multiple societies and projects. According to NHRF, residents can provide details such as the housing project, developer, possession status, the duration of the pending registration, reasons for the delay, and previous representations made to the authorities.
Data to be analysed
The federation said the information received will be categorised and analysed to identify common issues across different housing projects. Pending registrations may be linked to several factors, including documentation, developer-related formalities, authority approvals, completion or occupancy certificates, land or lease-related matters, outstanding payments, legal issues or other procedural requirements.
Based on the information collected, the federation plans to prepare a consolidated representation for submission to relevant government departments, development authorities, registration authorities and other stakeholders. NHRF president Nikhil Singhal said the initiative is intended to document the issue at the resident and project level rather than rely only on individual complaints.
“The objective is to systematically document the concerns of residents and place the facts before the concerned authorities. The information will help identify common issues and areas where intervention may be required,” Singhal said.

Residents advised to share relevant documents
Residents have been advised to provide accurate information and relevant supporting documents wherever available. They have also been advised not to upload unnecessary sensitive personal information, such as Aadhaar, PAN, or bank statements, unless specifically required.
The initiative covers residents of high-rise societies in both Noida and Greater Noida whose flat or property registrations remain pending. The federation said the collected information will be used to prepare a consolidated picture of the issue and take it up with the concerned authorities.
