Greater Noida West: The volunteers of Neki Ka Dabba Foundation once again reached the doorstep of service settlements to serve the needy through their unique campaign “Neki Ka Dona-Pattal” on December 21, 2024. In this program, about 300 samosas and 300 bread pakoras were distributed along with hot tea.
Convenor Urvashi Masand says, “This initiative has been dedicated to serving the needy for many years. The organization started this campaign taking inspiration from Uttaran.”
The founder members of the organization took a pledge to provide food to the people living in service settlements and slums a few years ago, which was named “Neki Ka Dona-Pattal”. This campaign is a unique effort to feed the hungry.
Special attention is given to the environment in the program, so eco-friendly materials are used instead of plastic / thermocol. Founder Girish Chandra Shukla said that this initiative is inspiring people, due to which now people have started sharing happiness among the needy on special occasions like their birthdays and anniversaries.
Urvashi Masand, Pooja Thenua Salal, Neeraj Mishra, Atul Pandey, Dadan Singh, Savitri Chaudhary, Kamal Kishore, Girish Chandra Shukla, Saroj Chaudhary, Mahendra Pandey, Sachin Sengar and Jaiswal family etc. were mainly present in the program.
