
Noida: Keeping in mind the tension created on the border between India and Pakistan, a meeting was held with the officials of the Police, Administration, Security agencies, Health Department, Fire Department, Electricity Departments, RWA and Entrepreneur organization under the chairmanship of DM Manish Kumar Verma to deal with any emergency situation.
In the meeting held in the Collectorate auditorium, DM Manish Kumar Verma said that in such a situation, we all have to discharge our responsibilities by establishing mutual coordination without panicking.
If any misleading message is received, then it should be confirmed from the competent level, because orders will be issued by the district administration for blackout, closure of schools or any other information. Do not make any misleading message viral on social media until any order issued by the competent officer is received in any regard.

Police is monitoring the whatsapp groups and social media posts
If any guidelines are issued at the local level, it will be done officially. One should not fall prey to any kind of rumour or misunderstanding. The Police and the district administration are also monitoring those who post controversial misleading posts on social media and whatsapp group. Strict action will be taken who do this.

During this, the Health Department, NDRF, CISF, CRPF, Fire and Electricity Department also informed the DM about their preparations.
To confirm rumour, toll free number will be issued to general public
The DM directed the Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue to set up a control room for the convenience of the general public and issue a toll free number, so that any person can contact it and confirm the misleading message or rumour.
Orders will be issued by DM for schools if needed
Also directed the District School Inspector to send a letter to the Principal of all the schools to make the parents of the children studying in the schools aware that they should not pay attention to the closure of the school or any other rumour. Orders will be issued by the District Administration in this regard if needed.
‘The lifts should remain operational in blackout‘
In the meeting, Joint Police Commissioner Rajiv Narayan Mishra told the RWA officials that lifts should remain operational even in blackout.
everyone should disconnect the electrical connection of the lift in their respective societies in such a way that when the power supply is stopped during a blackout, the lift remains operational, so that no person gets trapped in the lift during a blackout. He also said that people living in societies should be made aware that if they see any suspicious person or object anywhere, they should immediately inform the concerned police station.

No movement to be captured and shared anywhere
Rajiv Narayan, Joint Police Comissioner has appealed to the general public that if they see any movement of the police, force or army anywhere, then do not make a video of it and make it viral on social media. Guidelines are also being issued by the Government of India and the District Administration regarding what to do and what not to do during an emergency, which must be studied.
