Noida: Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on Saturday with a flag-hoisting ceremony and a vibrant cultural programme.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag by the institute’s registrar and dean, who also extended Independence Day greetings to students, faculty members and staff.
Students showcase patriotic spirit
Students presented a series of patriotic songs and cultural performances that reflected their love for the nation, national unity and respect for the country. The performances received an enthusiastic response from those present at the event.
During the programme, speakers remembered the sacrifices and contributions of India’s freedom fighters and encouraged students to understand the values associated with independence.
Students were also urged to play an active role in nation-building and contribute towards the country’s progress while upholding the principles of unity and integrity.
