Greater Noida: Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour in Beta-1, Greater Noida, with the RWA organising a special ceremony to honour the nation and remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters and martyrs.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a salute to the Tricolour and tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.

Residents, RWA office-bearers and prominent members of the community participated in the programme and celebrated the occasion with patriotic slogans.

‘Remember the Sacrifice of Freedom Fighters’

RWA President Sangeeta Sharma said Independence Day is an occasion to remember the sacrifices and contributions of the country’s freedom fighters.

She said citizens should draw inspiration from their ideals and ensure their active participation in the development of society and the nation.

RWA General Secretary Harendra Bhati said the Tricolour represents the country’s honour, pride and dignity.

He emphasised that national unity, social harmony and the interests of the country should remain the highest priorities for citizens.

Residents Join Celebrations

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from RWA office-bearers, prominent members of the area and residents.

The celebrations reflected a strong sense of community spirit, with residents coming together to mark the country’s Independence Day and pay their respects to the nation’s heroes.

The event concluded with patriotic slogans and a renewed commitment to uphold national unity, social harmony and the values associated with India’s freedom struggle.
