Noida: A tragic incident was reported from Hyde Park Society in Sector 78 on Monday morning, where a 52-year-old woman died after falling from the seventh floor of the residential complex.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhjot Kaur, a resident of Vikaspuri in Delhi. According to the information available, she had been staying at her sister’s residence in Hyde Park Society for the past three days.
Left Home Saying She Was Going for a Morning Walk
According to preliminary information shared with the police, Prabhjot Kaur left the house on Monday morning after telling her family members that she was going for a morning walk.
However, instead of going to the park, she reportedly reached the common area on the seventh floor of the society.
During the initial investigation, police found that she had allegedly used a plastic stool kept in the area to reach a height before falling to the ground. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
Security Guards Alert Family and Police
After hearing a loud sound, security guards rushed to the spot and immediately informed the woman’s family members and the local police.
She was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared her dead.
Sector 113 Police Station SHO Pramod Kumar said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
