Greater Noida West: A young man has been fooled by a few people. Befriending a gay youth through the GRINDR app proved costly for him. The accused youth robbed the victim of cash, a gold chain and a ring. The victim complained about the incident to the police.

What is the whole matter?

A young man who live in Panchsheel Greens 2 used the gay dating app GRINDR but he had no idea how harmful it could be for him. The youth said that he had downloaded the app on October 11.On October 13, he met a person named Rohit. Rohit and his conversation reached friendship and both became intimate. Rohit took advantage of this closeness and called him to meet on October 14. At around 2 o’clock, he went outside the society gate to meet him. Everyone was shocked to see what happened after that. Rohit made them sit in the car and then blackmailed them and took about 68000 rupees, gold chain and gold rings.

Police statement

In this regard, the police say an FIR has been registered. Further investigation will be conducted, and action will be taken soon.
