After a lot of effort, they could be heard and everyone could be taken out. Due to lack of maintenance in high-rise societies, complaints of lift failure are increasing continuously.
The lift was stuck on the third floor of M Tower
On Monday, July 28, 2024, children and residents were coming down the lift in M Tower on 14th Avenue in Gaur City. Suddenly the lift stopped and the lift alarm started ringing. On this, some residents and tower staff present there opened the lift partially on the third floor and first of all took out the children trapped in it. The children were terrified and frightened. After this, women and men trapped in the lift were also taken out.
Accidents increasing due to the negligence of the administration and builders
It is surprising that during the peak hours in the morning when there is a high possibility of an accident, no operator and technical staff was present. Incidents of people getting stuck in lifts are increasing in high-rise societies. Despite this, neither the local administration nor the builder’s maintenance staff are neither increasing agility nor efficiency.
