Greater Noida West: Shri Guru Singh Sabha Greater Noida West, Gaur City Crossing, organized a huge Nagar Kirtan on the 555th Prakash Parv of the first Guru of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Nagar kirtan was welcomed by all the societies
The Nagar Kirtan started from Paramount Society Crossing Republic, Glass Gate, at 11 a.m. It passed through Crossing Roundabout, Galleria Market, Indrapuram Public School Crossing, and Gurudwara Sahib. After going around Gaur City 2, it ended at 6 p.m. at Gurudwara Sahib.
Showers of flowers on Shri Guru Granth Sahib by residents
Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was adorned in Palki Sahib on an open vehicle decorated with flower garlands, which was welcomed by the local citizens with flower showers.
Grand celebrations with decorated costumes and sweeping of the floor by sewadars
before the Palki of Guru Granth Sahib, five Pyare were walking in decorated costumes, and male and female sevadars were cleaning the road by sprinkling water and sweeping. The residents welcomed the Nagar Kirtan with flower showers.
Kirtan Jatha filled the Greater Noida West with the Divine aura
The kirtan jatha of men and women filled the atmosphere with the hymns of the Guru. Sweets such as Prasad and chickpeas were distributed to all the residents of Greater Noida West and the passersby.
Sparkling fireworks were so pomp that running traffic was halted
Residents of different avenues welcomed the Nagar Kirtan with fireworks and flower garlands and stalls of chickpea kulche, bread pakora, cold drink, tea, samosa, tea etc. were set up at various places.
Langar was served wholeheartedly
Finally, the Nagar Kirtan ended at Gurdwara Sahib, where Guru ka aatoot langar was distributed to all the people.
On this occasion, the President of the Gurdwara Managing Committee Surinder Singh, Managing Committee Chief Sardar Jaspal Singh, and members RS Uppal, Narendra Singh Babbar, Jasvir Singh Khalsa, RS Arora and all the members of the Managing Team were present.
