Flying within India is now easier than ever thanks to Air India’s ‘Fly Prior,’ which gives passengers more schedule flexibility.
Fly Prior is a new service that Air India has launched to provide domestic passengers with more freedom.
Passengers on Air India can now change their flight up to 12 hours prior to the original departure time on the same day that they made their reservation.
For individuals who must make last-minute changes to their plans in order to attend an additional meeting or arrive at their destination earlier, this option is ideal.
The service is offered at all Air India check-in desks and ticket counters in Indian airports. Gold and Platinum members of Air India’s Flying Returns loyalty program are entitled to “Fly Prior” for free, while other travelers can purchase it for a fair price.
The cost of “Fly Prior” differs depending on the route:
Flights between Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and other major cities cost Rs 2,199.
Flights to or from other locations in India cost Rs 1,499.
Passengers who choose this option will get an instant confirmation for their new trip, and any checked luggage will be processed right away. With the exception of seat preference and special meal orders, other services such as priority handling or excess baggage will also be carried over to the new trip.
With this new service, Air India keeps improving customer comfort by making travel easier and more flexible to accommodate varying schedules.
