Noida, Sector 137: The great festival of faith and devotion, Chhath Puja, was enthusiastically celebrated at Biodiversity Park, Sector 137, Noida. On this occasion, local residents collectively worshipped Chhathi Maiya, offered Arghya to Lord Sun, and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the family.

200 kg Thekua was distributed to the residents

This year, 200 kg of ‘Thekua‘ was specially prepared, with the active participation of all the residents. It was a wonderful example of how the community united to make this religious ritual even more special. The Thekua Prasad was distributed among the devotees so everyone enjoyed this festival.

The event was conducted successfully with the efforts of team volunteer 137 Noida

The event also received great support from ‘Team Volunteer 137 Noida’ and all the Residential Associations (AOA) of the area. Their efforts helped in conducting the event smoothly so that all the devotees could offer their devotion without any difficulty.

Closing ceremony with Usha Arghya

The closing ceremony was organized on 8 November 2024 with Usha Arghya, in which the program concluded after the distribution of Chhath Puja Prasad. On this occasion, dignitaries of the society, officials, and social workers were present. He expressed his gratitude to all the members of the organizing committee ‘Purvanchal Cultural Committee, Sector 137, Noida, including A.K. Jha, Ravi Chandra Srivastava, Gangesh Jha, Shekhar Jha, Bhavesh Jha, Shashikant Singh, Gaurav Jha, Kumari Varsha Tiwari, Yogesh Singh, Vikas Anand, Virendra Shukla, Hemant Jha and all other members. Apart from this, he also thanked all the staff who assisted in cleanliness and security.
