The real name is “Kisan Chowk”

The real name is Kisan Chowk, but due to the presence of four statues, it was named “Char Murti Roundabout”. There are four statues of Lord Gautam Buddha installed at this roundabout, facing all four directions, east, west, north and south. Gautam Buddha Nagar district developed in a multifaceted way during Mayawati’s tenure. Therefore, the statue of Lord Gautam Buddha is installed in different places, which gives a new identity to this district.

760 meters long and costs 82 crores

This underpass will be about 760 meters long and 30 meters wide. Its construction will cost an estimated Rs 82 crore. It is targeted to be completed in 18 months. During the construction of the underpass, temporary roads will be constructed to bring changes to the traffic system so that traffic can be diverted and Construction work can be done without any hindrance. In the first phase, construction work will start on 60-meter road from Kisan Chowk towards Bisrakh.

800 trees will be shifted and 200 will be cut

For the construction of the proposed underpass at Kisan Chowk (Char Murti roundabout) in Greater Noida West, the Forest Department has given permission to the Greater Noida Authority to shift 800 trees and cut 200 trees. This underpass is being constructed with the aim of providing relief to local residents and commuters from traffic jams. Hence it has become necessary to remove trees on a large scale here.
