Greater Noida West: The Supreme Court has given a stern warning to flat buyers by making a big decision in the Amrapali Housing Project. The Supreme Court has said that the booking of those buyers who are not coming to take possession of their flats will be cancelled. After this, these flats will be sold to other buyers. These projects are being constructed by the public sector NBCC. This decision of the Supreme Court has created a stir among the flat buyers of Amrapali.
Big setback to flat buyers
A bench of the Supreme Court is closely monitoring this entire matter. The division bench of Justice Bela M Trivedi and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma has expressed serious concern in this matter. The Supreme Court has asked Attorney General R Venkataramani, who is working as the court receiver, to submit the status report of the unsold properties. Along with this, information has been sought about those flat buyers who are not coming to take possession even after repeated contacts.
4 projects approved
Court receiver Venkataramani has made a shocking disclosure and informed that there are about three to four thousand flat buyers who have not come to take possession despite repeated appeals. At the same time, Siddharth Dave, the lawyer appearing on behalf of NBCC, said that the maps of Centurion Park, Leisure Valley, Leisure Park and Dream Valley projects have been uploaded. The court has directed the Greater Noida Authority to approve these 4 projects.
500 crore required
The representative of NBCC informed us that 500 crore is required to complete the work of Rs 343 crore in the remaining flats. The court has also directed the Silicon City project, which falls under Noida’s jurisdiction, to approve additional flats. Senior advocate Ravindra Kumar, appearing for Noida and Greater Noida authorities, informed that the Greater Noida Authority has approved the construction of additional flats in the Gold Home project.
