Noida: The condition of public toilets across Noida has become a growing concern, with many facilities reportedly remaining closed or lying in a neglected state. Residents and commuters are urging the Noida Authority to take immediate action to restore these essential public amenities.

Closed Facilities Causing Inconvenience

According to residents, several public toilets across the city are either locked, non-functional or in poor condition. The closure of these facilities has created inconvenience for pedestrians, commuters, senior citizens, women and visitors who depend on public sanitation infrastructure.

Neglected Infrastructure Raises Hygiene Concerns

Citizens have pointed out that many toilet complexes have deteriorated due to inadequate maintenance. Poor cleanliness, damaged infrastructure and prolonged closure have raised concerns over hygiene and public health, particularly during the monsoon season when sanitation becomes even more critical.

Demand for Immediate Action

Residents have appealed to the Noida Authority to inspect all public toilet facilities, repair damaged infrastructure and reopen closed units at the earliest. They say ensuring access to clean and functional public toilets is a basic civic responsibility and an essential part of urban infrastructure.

Citizens Seek Intervention

Highlighting the issue on social media, residents have urged Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M and the civic body to take immediate corrective measures so that public toilet facilities across the city become operational and are maintained regularly for public use.
