Greater Noida: The 7th edition of World Environment Expo 2026 commenced on June 4, 2026, at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators and environmental advocates on a common platform dedicated to sustainability and green development. The three-day exhibition, running until June 6, features more than 200 exhibitors from India and abroad and is expected to attract between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors.

Grand inauguration highlights focus on sustainability

The expo was inaugurated by Mahesh Sharma, who highlighted the need for sustainable development and collective action to address pressing environmental challenges. He emphasised the importance of balancing economic growth with environmental conservation and appreciated the event for fostering collaboration among government bodies, businesses, and environmental stakeholders.

According to the organisers, the exhibition serves as a key platform for promoting environmental awareness, clean technologies, and innovative solutions that contribute to a greener future.

Industry leaders and organisations extend support

World Environment Expo 2026 is supported by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, with GAIL (India) Limited serving as the Sustainability Partner. Other major partners include JCB as Gold Sponsor and HJT Solar as the Solar Module Partner.

The event has also received support from various organisations and industry bodies, including the Indian Sugar & Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association and SAMARTH. The exhibition has been organised jointly by Indian Exhibition Services and Green Society of India.

Speaking at the event, Swadesh Kumar, Founder and CEO of Indian Exhibition Services, said the expo has evolved into a significant platform for business networking and knowledge sharing in the sustainability sector.

He noted that strong participation from exhibitors, government representatives, industry experts and visitors reflects the growing commitment toward environmental responsibility and sustainable growth.
