Eyewitnesses flag rash and suspected drunk driving
Eyewitnesses stated that the car was being driven at high speed and the driver appeared intoxicated. The collision overturned the auto, trapping the passenger underneath.
Victim critical, Multiple surgeries required
The injured, Vivek Prakash Pal, a resident of Supertech Ecovillage 1, was rushed to Sarvodaya Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU in critical condition.
Medical details revealed:
- One surgery was performed due to bladder damage.
- A second procedure was required for pelvic injuries.
- Sciatic nerve damage led to his leg being placed under traction/support.
- Doctors estimate recovery could take up to one year.

A handwritten complaint submitted to Bisrakh Police Station detailed how the accused driver fled the scene after hitting the auto near Gaur City Chowk. Despite this, no immediate FIR was registered. It was only after multiple follow-ups by residents and escalation to senior officials, including a meeting with the DCP, that police finally lodged the FIR.

Screenshots accessed show that the matter was repeatedly escalated to the Gaur City 1 chowki in charge.

We had been pursuing the case since March 26 with the Gaur City 1 Chowki inharge and Uttar Pradesh Police, yet the culprit remained at large despite all details being shared. Vivek was in the ICU in critical condition and he is discharged today after facing major surgeries. We hoped that Uttar Pradesh Police, Noida Police Commissionerate and Central Noida Police would ensure equal urgency, just as in high-profile cases.
