JKG Palm Court : Flat owners launch Missing Builder campaign amid 5-year registry delay

Noida : Residents of JKG Palm Court staged a unique protest over the long-pending issue of flat registry.
Frustrated by the builder’s prolonged absence and silence, the residents displayed posters reading “Missing Builder – Please Help Us Find Him” inside the society premises.

Registry pending for five years

Nearly 500 families have been waiting for their flat registry for more than five years.
Residents allege that despite repeated emails, visits, and written complaints, the builder has neither responded nor agreed to meet them.

The builder sold us homes but forgot to register them.

The protest caught attention with its witty yet emotional posters carrying messages such as:

Our builder sold us the flats and went missing. He seems to have forgotten to register our homes.”

“Dear Builder, wherever you are, please come back. We are worried sick waiting for you.”

These posters — a mix of humor, irony, and desperation — highlighted how the residents’ patience has turned into frustration.

“Buddhi shuddhi yagya” during Navratri

Just last week, during Navratri, residents performed a ‘Buddhi Shuddhi Yagya’ (a ritual for clarity and wisdom) for the builder, hoping he might regain his sense of responsibility.
The residents say their protests are peaceful but symbolic — meant to remind both the builder and the authorities that their struggle is far from over.

Project background

JKG Palm Court, developed by JKG Construction Pvt. Ltd., was launched with promises of premium housing and timely possession.
However, the project soon became controversial due to its delays, pending registrations, and incomplete amenities.
Residents claim that although possession was handed over years ago, the registry and final handover formalities remain unresolved, leaving buyers in a state of legal uncertainty.

Authority’s silence raises questions

Residents allege that despite multiple letters and follow-ups with the Greater Noida Authority, no concrete action has been taken so far.
They demand that the authority either summon the builder for an explanation or initiate legal proceedings to ensure registries are completed.

“We have done everything within our capacity. Now it’s up to the authority to show accountability,” said one resident.
