Greater Noida West: In a significant development, the residents of River View Apartments in Greater Noida West have decided to temporarily suspend their ongoing protest following a meeting with the Office of the Supreme Court-appointed Receiver (CR) held on June 28, 2025. Representatives from the Apartment Owners’ Association (AOA) and an official from NBCC were present during the meeting.

During the discussions, the CR representative assured residents that their concerns and demands would be examined favorably, and necessary actions would be taken based on merit. The Receiver’s office has committed to providing a final decision in writing by July 20, 2025.

AOA welcomed the move

We are thankful to the Receiver’s office for engaging with us constructively and taking our issues seriously. We are hopeful that our legitimate demands will be addressed.

As a result of the assurance, the residents have announced a pause in all forms of protest—physical demonstrations and otherwise—until the given deadline. However, they have also made it clear that the agitation may resume if their demands remain unmet beyond July 20.
