
Greater Noida: Vijay Mahotsav 2026, organised by the Shri Ramlila Committee, will begin on October 11 with cultural performances based on devotion and patriotism. During a press conference held at Ramlila Ground, Site 4, committee office-bearers shared details of the event and preparations.
Around 800 children from schools and academies across urban and rural areas will showcase their talents through colourful cultural performances.
Ramlila Performances to Continue Until October 21
Committee president Sardar Manjeet Singh said the festival would begin with cultural performances by children, following the tradition of previous years. The initiative aims to encourage young talent and provide children from the region with a platform to showcase their abilities.
Committee general secretary Vijendra Singh Arya said Ramlila performances would be held daily from October 12 to October 21. The performances will depict various episodes from the life of Lord Shri Ram.
Ravana Effigy Burning on October 20
Treasurer Manoj Garg said the effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkaran would be burnt on October 20 on the occasion of Vijayadashami. The event will be followed by a colourful fireworks display.
Security Arrangements Being Strengthened
Joint general secretary Saurabh Bansal said adequate security arrangements were being made for the festival, including the deployment of security guards and installation of CCTV cameras.
A team of 65 artists from the Saket Kala Manch will perform during the Ramlila.
Grand Fair to Feature Rides, Food Stalls and Shopping
Media in-charge Vinod Kasana said a grand fair would be organised alongside the Ramlila performances. The fair will feature food stalls offering a variety of cuisines, including those operated by Jayanti Caterers.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy several new amusement rides, a boat ride, Columbus rides and a Maruti car circus. Multiple shopping stalls will also be set up for visitors.
