Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh Transport Department is in action mode. Action is being taken against all the buses of private schools of Noida-Greater Noida which are junk and running on the road. ARTO has seized many vehicles while taking action against such vehicles. ARTO says that such buses cause accidents. Due to this, this action is being taken continuously.
Action taken on more than 100 buses
For the past several days, ARTO has continuously taken action against school buses and illegal buses running on the roads of Noida-Greater Noida. ARTO says, “The fitness of the buses which come from Gautam Buddha Nagar to other districts or from other districts to Gautam Buddha Nagar district is being checked. If any deficiency is found, or the vehicle is not as per the standard, then action is being taken against it. Action has been taken against hundreds of buses so far.”

The ARTO said that in this sequence, 86 vehicles have been challenged so far, while 42 buses have been completely banned from running on the road. Until the bus owners get the bus body and its deficiencies fixed and get the fitness certificate, action will continue to be taken against such vehicles.
