Simple Energy is rapidly expanding, with 10 stores already open and 2,500+ units delivered in key cities like Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Kochi.

Simple Energy, the clean-tech startup, has launched an update for its flagship electric scooter, the Simple ONE.
The Gen 1.5 version now offers an extended certified range of 248 kilometres on a single charge, up from 212 kilometres in the Gen 1 model. This makes it India’s longest-range electric two-wheeler.
In addition to the enhanced range, the Gen 1.5 comes with a host of new software features, including app integration, navigation, updated ride modes, park assist, over-the-air (OTA) updates, regenerative braking, trip history, and more. Other new features include a customizable dashboard, “Find My Vehicle” option, rapid brake system, tyre pressure monitoring, USB charging port, auto brightness, and adjustable tones.
The updated scooter is now available at Simple Energy showrooms, with existing owners of the Simple ONE receiving the latest version through software updates. The pricing remains the same as the Gen 1, at Rs 1,66,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and it comes with a 750W charger.
Along with the added features, the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 retains its best features, including rapid acceleration from 0-40 km/h in just 2.77 seconds and a 30+ litre under-seat storage. The new version also introduces advanced smart tech and connectivity features, such as real-time data and remote access via the app. Besides this, one can easily navigate with built-in turn-by-turn maps and enjoy enhanced visuals with customizable dash themes, auto brightness, and personalised sound settings.
For safety and ride control, the scooter now includes regenerative braking, rapid brake, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The park assist feature, which supports both forward and reverse movements, adds extra convenience for manoeuvring in tight spots.

The company already has 10 stores and over 2,500 roll-outs, with a strong presence in cities like Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kochi. Looking ahead, Simple Energy plans to expand to 23 states with 150 new stores and 200 service centres.
