On October 17, Kasna police received confidential information that some suspects were moving near Dadha village with the alleged intention of committing a child-theft-related offence.

A police team set up a checking operation near the Dadha roundabout and signalled a suspicious car to stop. According to the police, the occupants attempted to flee at high speed. The car subsequently collided with a tree and came to a halt.
