Sector 72 residents elect a new RWA leadership team, with Satish Pandey chosen as President and Vijay Kumar Sharma as Vice President.
Noida : The election for the new Executive Committee of the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Sector 72, Noida, was successfully conducted on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Sector 72 Community Centre. Residents participated in the democratic process to elect office bearers who will lead the association for the upcoming term.
According to the election results, three positions were filled unopposed before the polling process, while elections were held for the posts of President and Vice President.

A total of 198 votes were cast for the President’s post. Satish Pandey secured 115 votes, defeating his rival and emerging as the winner. Following the announcement of the results, he was declared the new President of RWA Sector 72.
For the post of Vice President, 198 votes were also cast. Vijay Kumar Sharma received 86 votes and was declared elected as the Vice President of the association.
The election process was conducted peacefully and witnessed active participation from residents. Members expressed hope that the newly elected team would work towards addressing civic issues, improving community facilities and enhancing the overall quality of life in the sector.
