Noida: The Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Block A, Sector 3 has alleged that electricity has been tripping repeatedly since around 11 pm every night, causing prolonged power disruptions in the area. According to residents, the issue has continued despite repeated complaints to NPCL officials.

The RWA stated that it had been continuously informing the concerned officials about the recurring fault since the previous day. Although residents were assured that the issue had been resolved during the daytime, power outages reportedly resumed again at night.

Children and Senior Citizens Worst Affected

Residents said the repeated outages have become a major inconvenience, particularly as night-time temperatures remain around 32°C. Children, senior citizens and other residents are facing discomfort due to the frequent interruptions in electricity supply.

The RWA expressed concern that the issue is not being treated with the urgency it deserves and called for a permanent technical solution instead of temporary fixes.

RWA Warns of Formal Complaint

The association has urged NPCL to immediately deploy its technical team to identify and permanently rectify the fault. It has also warned that if the problem is not resolved without further delay, residents will visit the NPCL headquarters to lodge a formal complaint.

Appeal to Greater Noida Authority

The RWA has also appealed to the Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of the Greater Noida Authority to take cognisance of the alleged repeated lapses by NPCL and ensure appropriate action so that residents are not subjected to recurring power disruptions.
