Greater Noida West: Repeated attacks by owls have triggered fear among residents of La Residentia, particularly those living around towers 4 and 5. Residents claim that three to four people have been attacked by the birds at night in the past two weeks.
According to residents, the owls have also been spotted several times around the society, including near balconies and areas frequented by residents. The repeated sightings and reported attacks have raised concerns about the safety of people moving around the society after dark.
Residents say the incidents have created an atmosphere of anxiety, with many now becoming cautious about stepping out at night, particularly near the affected towers.
Some residents who reported being attacked include Bijoy Tripathi from tower 4 and Sandeep from tower 5.
Residents have urged the authorities to intervene and ensure that the birds are safely removed from the residential premises and relocated to a suitable natural habitat.
With concerns growing over further attacks, residents are seeking an urgent solution to prevent any more incidents and ensure that people, especially those returning home at night, can move around the society without fear.
