Greater Noida West: Frustration is mounting in the upscale Radha Sky Garden, Greater Noida West as residents allege they were misled by developers regarding promised electricity infrastructure. Despite paying lakhs of rupees as a one-time fixed charge, residents claim that basic commitments remain unmet, leaving them grappling with unreliable power supply.

According to residents, the developer had committed to building two fully operational power stations as part of the infrastructure plan. However, not even one of these stations is functioning properly. Instead, the society currently relies on just two transformers and three diesel generator sets, which are grossly insufficient for the needs of hundreds of families.

We were promised a seamless, private electricity set-up in return for heavy upfront payments,. Everyday we face frequent blackouts, and the gensets cannot meet the demand. It’s unfair and unacceptable.”

The lack of adequate infrastructure has also raised concerns about fire safety, appliance damage, and environmental impact due to the prolonged use of diesel generators.

Residents say they have repeatedly reached out to the developer and local authorities but with little response or resolution. Many now demand an independent audit, a refund of unutilized funds, or immediate infrastructure upgrades.

The issue is not just about the power supply, residents argue — it’s about trust, accountability, and the right to basic amenities after having invested their life savings into what was promised as a world-class housing society.

As discontent brews, residents are considering legal action and mobilizing to ensure their voices are heard.
