Greater Noida West: Residents of Mahagun Mantra 1, Greater Noida West, have alleged that the builder gave them possession of the flat two years ago with incomplete work. Apart from this, lakhs of rupees were deposited in the account of a private stamp vendor in the name of stamp duty, while Rs 9000 was collected in cash from the residents in the name of registry expenses, for which no receipt was given.
Residents say that despite this, the builder did not pay its dues to the authority, due to which the builder is not able to get OC and CC (Occupancy Certificate and Construction Certificate). Along with this, the builder has made a new building by changing the map passed by the authority. Now the builder is pressurizing the residents to give in writing that the change in the map has been made with their consent, but most of the residents are not ready for this.
In the meeting it was decided that a memorandum would be sent to the Honorable Chief Minister, as well as an appeal would be made to him for intervention. Apart from this, all the men, women and children of the society will protest every Sunday at other under-construction sites of Mahagun, so that the sale of Mahagun’s new project can be affected. The purpose of this is to force the builder to deposit the dues of the authority so that the registration process of Mahagun Mantra 1 can start.
Many residents including J.P. Pandey, Devendra Jakhar, Rajesh Kumar, Rajesh Gupta, Prabal Sisodia, Vikas Gulati, Tushar Ghosh, K.M. Choubey, and Deshraj Milapi were prominently present in the meeting.
