
Residents take out Tiranga Yatra to salute the pilot’s courage, sense of duty and humanity
Greater Noida West : In a heartfelt tribute to courage, duty and humanity, residents of Greater Noida West honoured pilot Smit Machhar, credited with saving the lives of around 180 people, at a public gathering and Tiranga Yatra held at Saraswati Authority Park.

The event, organised by Yoga Group and Eco Friends Group, Greater Noida West, witnessed the participation of a large number of local residents and distinguished citizens who came together to pay tribute to the pilot for his courage, composure and commitment to duty.
Speakers at the gathering said that Smit Machhar had demonstrated exceptional courage, patience and a strong sense of responsibility under challenging circumstances. His actions, they said, had not only helped save numerous lives but had also brought pride to India and Indians across the world.

The speakers emphasised that individuals who place human life and national interest above all else serve as role models for the younger generation. They added that Machhar’s courage and dedication would continue to inspire people and deserve lasting recognition.
Mahesh Yadav, J.N. Prasad, Dilip Jha, Chandradar Singh and Rajendra Mittal addressed the gathering and shared their views on the importance of courage, public service and responsibility.

Several prominent citizens and residents were also present at the event, including C.P. Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Sunil Rathore, Anuj Tyagi, Karam Singh Pal, Subhash Rathi, V.K. Kushwaha, Anil Dhawan, Jogendra Pal, S.P. Gupta, V.K. Batra, T.R. Sharma, Navneet Dixit, Saurabh Awasthi, Pankaj Gupta, Surendra Singh Gosai, Param Hans Sharma, Phool Singh and others.
The programme concluded with an enthusiastic Tiranga Yatra, during which participants carried the national flag and conveyed a message of unity, patriotism and respect for those who demonstrate exceptional courage in the service of humanity.

The organisers reiterated their tribute to Smit Machhar, stating that his courage, dedication to duty and humanitarian spirit deserved the highest respect.
