Noida : Noida’s rural development agenda received fresh momentum after a key meeting between and officials of the Noida Village Residents Association. Several crucial infrastructure and village-level issues were discussed in detail during the interaction.
Proposal for an elevated road from Raipur to Chhaproli
During the meeting, NOVRA strongly proposed the construction of an elevated road or highway along the Pushta Road stretch from Raipur village (Sector 125 and Sector 94) to Chhaproli village (Sector 168). The plan also includes connecting this proposed corridor to the Yamuna Expressway.
Experts believe that once implemented, the project could benefit dozens of villages, hundreds of sectors and lakhs of residents. It is also expected to significantly ease the growing traffic congestion on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

MLA Pankaj Singh assured that efforts will be made to take the proposal forward at the earliest. He stated that once completed, the road would become a landmark project and further accelerate Noida’s development.
