Residents had specifically requested that Jain be honoured during the General Body Meeting in recognition of his efforts.
Accepting the residents’ request, the RWA felicitated Sambhav Jain and his mother during the meeting.
RWA Reviews Sector Development Work
The meeting began with RWA President Anil Prakash Ranhotra welcoming the residents and discussing development-related works in Sector 51.
General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar presented a detailed 23-page annual report, outlining the work undertaken by the managing committee during the 2025-26 financial year.

Residents Raise Waterlogging And Sewer Concerns
Residents actively participated in the meeting and highlighted several problems that they said require urgent intervention from the concerned authorities.
One of the major concerns was waterlogging during the monsoon. Residents said that inadequate cleaning of small and large drains often results in rainwater entering the basements of houses.
They called for timely cleaning and desilting of drains before and during the monsoon season to prevent water accumulation.
Sewer Overflow Becomes Major Concern
Residents also raised concerns over the deteriorating sewer system in Sector 51.
According to residents, sewer overflow becomes particularly severe during the rainy season, creating inconvenience and hygiene concerns.
They said repeated complaints to the concerned authorities have not resulted in a permanent solution and urged the Noida Authority to address the issue on a long-term basis.
Residents Object To Commercial Activities In Residential Areas
Another major issue discussed during the meeting was the alleged operation of commercial establishments from residential plots.
Residents claimed that activities including banquet halls and study centres in basements are operating in residential areas. They also alleged that some establishments continue to function despite notices from the authority.
Residents demanded stricter enforcement against unauthorised commercial use of residential properties.
Concerns Over OYO Rooms, PGs, Gyms And Other Activities
Residents also raised concerns about the alleged operation of OYO rooms, paying guest accommodations, gyms, dance academies, yoga academies and taxi stands in residential areas.
They further alleged that some commercial and service-related activities have resulted in a large number of workers and electric scooters entering the residential area on a daily basis.
According to residents, repeated appeals have not resulted in the closure of such activities.
Building Material On Road Raises Traffic And Pollution Concerns
Residents also highlighted the issue of building material being stored and sold in the open on the road opposite Diamond Banquet Hall.
They alleged that the activity contributes to traffic congestion and pollution and said that despite repeated complaints, the problem has not been resolved.
Residents called for the concerned departments to take action and ensure that roads and public spaces are not used for unauthorised commercial storage and sales.
RWA Assures Residents Of Follow-Up
At the conclusion of the meeting, General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar thanked all eligible members who attended the General Body Meeting.
He assured residents that the RWA would continue pursuing the issues raised during the meeting with the Noida Authority, electricity department and police department and would make efforts to get the pending issues resolved.
