Noida International Airport (NIA) has announced a partnership with Kyndryl, the world’s leading IT infrastructure services provider, to manage its state-of-the-art technology systems and 24/7 support services.
With over 30 years of experience in transforming airports and airlines globally, Kyndryl will ensure that NIA operates with the latest technology frameworks, delivery services, and governance practices to provide world-class, technology-driven airport operations.
As a greenfield airport, NIA is focused on offering a seamless and memorable experience for travellers. With technology at its core, Kyndryl will help NIA build a strong IT foundation by assessing the existing infrastructure, implementing effective policies, and overseeing security, asset management, and risk compliance during operations.
Kyndryl will manage NIA’s IT estate using Kyndryl Bridge, an AI-powered platform that will automate IT processes and monitor the performance of its systems in real time. This will enable the airport to proactively detect and address any issues before they affect operations or customer experience. Additionally, Kyndryl will provide advanced information security services, including first-response systems for cybersecurity threats and continuous monitoring of system health.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, said, “Partnering with Kyndryl allows us to leverage their global expertise and innovative solutions to create a world-class airport that prioritizes passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency.”
Lingraju Sawkar, President of Kyndryl India, added, “In India, there are many citizens who are yet to take their first flight. Improving people connectivity across India is imperative and supports critical infrastructure needs and the India Government’s national agenda.”
The first phase of NIA will include one runway and one terminal, capable of handling 12 million passengers annually. Once fully developed, the airport will cater to 70 million passengers per year, blending Indian hospitality with Swiss precision.
